The First Direct Arena is a entertainment-focused indoor arena located in the Arena Quarter of Leeds. The 13,000 capacity venue officially opened on 4th September 2013 with a performance by Elton John. The newly built Leeds arena is the first in the UK to have a fan-shaped orientation and won the worlds best new venue in 2014.
Q-Park The Light car park provides nearby parking for the First Direct Arena. The car park is a 5 minute walk from the arena and is one of the safest and most secure places to park in the area. There are over 400 parking spaces in the facility which is well lit and monitored by CCTV 24/7. The location of the car park means that you can avoid the busy traffic outside the arena and quickly get away after the event.
Q-Park St Johns Centre also provides Leeds arena parking and can be used as an alternative to Q-Park The Light.
There is very limited street parking near The First Direct Arena, and Q-Park's secure car park gives you peace of mind that your vehicle will be safe whilst you enjoy yourself during the event.
The First Direct Arena has hosted a number of high-profile acts including Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Rod Stewart, Prince, Westlife and Genesis.
